Professor & Head of Laboratory · Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology · University of Chittagong
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Monirul Islam leads the Laboratory of Molecular & Structural Immunology (MSI Lab) at the University of Chittagong. With over two decades of experience in structural biology, molecular immunology, and protein technology, his research focuses on understanding the biophysical mechanisms governing host-pathogen interactions, vaccine development against emerging tropical viruses (Dengue, SARS-CoV-2, JEV), and patented peptide tags for solubility and immunogenicity control.
